Summary
Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver The Best Connection is working with our client based in Chester le Street. They are a global leader within the logistics sector carrying out store deliveries of a range of products. Due to increased workload they now require a LGV C (HGV Class 2) Driver.
The role is being offered on an ongoing temporary basis with an opportunity to become permanent after successful probationary period.
Duties include: Local deliveries of caged/palletised products delivered to stores Trunking between depots Preloaded vehicles & pre-planned routes Client requirements: CPC Driver Qualification Card Digi-Card Required Licence - Category C Requirement to Understand Tachos Our client may consider newly qualified drivers Our client carries out drug and alcohol testing Hours of work: Start times vary between: 04.00am - 07.00am daily Working on a rota basis 5 out of 7 Pay rates (PAYE):: Monday - Sunday - £15.15 per hour first 48 hours Monday - Sunday - £30.30 per hour after 48 hours Bank Holiday - £30.03 per hour Benefits of working for The Best Connection include: Weekly pay Weekly online payslips Holiday accrual Pension provision Personal accident insurance Successful applicants will be invited to register online via our digital onboarding system.
