Summary
**Personal Assistant / Carer**
**Purpose of the job**
PA required for a young lady in Wilmslow, SK9. I am hard of hearing and wear two hearing aids, left leg week (wobbly when walking), left arm wobbly, I suffer with epilepsy and my memory poor. I like art craft and music. I like walking and dancing.
**Hours and rate of Pay**
£11.44 per hour
Hours to be discussed on interview.
**Main Duties**
General house cleaning
Help me with communication skills.
To help me learn things by doing things by talking about them and redoing them again. I need a helper who comes in knowing what to do.
To plan what we are going to do in advance. I would like my PA to discuss her ideas with me. Mum and dad will be working with us to plan and share ideas.
Organize activities (creative in finding different activities to do with me). Finding new groups to join and meet new people. Find volunteering places to keep my mind and body active.
**Personal Assistant Specification**
I like people to respect me and come to me on time. Not use her mobile phone while with me (very important). Need to talk to me and concentrate on me and what we are doing talking about the activity at hand or other positive and productive ideas etc.
My assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently.
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
