We are currently recruiting for a Product Quality Analyst to support with the effective management of the reference rooms to ensure the accurate and timely assessment of our accelerated shelf life and BBD samples.
6 month FTC
Part Time: 2 on 6 off – 07:00am to 19:00pm (days only)

Key responsibilities within this role include:

- Booking in of all samples into folders
- Sorting of all samples by date, time and machine
- Recording of data in Files, Spreadsheets and production of daily exceptions reports for Quality Management and Production teams
- Management of re-samples, their collection, labelling, storage and monitoring as instructed
- Setting up samples on Biolumix as required
- Inputting all data from reference rooms and Biolumix into correct files
- Proactive approach to all matters concerning Health & Safety
- Support in the Micro Lab as required
- Support with monthly environmental testing
- Sensoric evaluation of product and packaging after the requisite time in each reference room
- Set up samples for monitoring taste panel and complete relevant paperwork
- Set up daily samples for TTT and printing out of relevant paperwork


Skills and Experience Required:

- A minimum of A level standard in a Science subject
- Experience within a food Laboratory
- Microbiology experience (Desirable)
- Strong ability to think clearly and analytically whilst working towards resolving a Quality issue
- Self-starting, motivated and enthusiastic in approach
- Ability to make an effective contribution to the team and become an established Microbiological expert within a defined area of the department
