Executive Chef Manager – Uckfield College.
Term time only contract!
Pabulum, have a fantastic opportunity for a talented Executive Chef Manager to join our team at one of our most prestigious
contracts.
We are looking for a Highly motivated, Sales driven Executive Chef with a strong craft background who also projects the love and
passion they have for food.
You will need to lead from the front at all times, so a strong management presence is essential. With close links to our clients,
you will hold weekly documented meetings showing a progressive approach to unit management.
This is a large multi outlet contract with a seasoned motivated team, so demonstrable track record in this area is a must have.
Responsibilities And Duties;
* To develop and train a highly motivated seasoned team and to put customers first and deliver the contractual requirements
* To be proactive in the engagement of customers, via school council meetings and assemblies, providing an opportunity to
maximise revenue
* you’ll be responsible for managing and monitoring all areas of service and standards, including budgetary controls and
targets.
* Ensure all legal H&S and company policies are up to date and completed
* Lead the kitchen team in providing top class student dining experience, through multiple outlets
* Providing high end hospitality functions thought the year.
* Ensure only nominated suppliers are used in the business
* Prepare and manage accurate projections for all P & L accounts including raw materials, wages etc.
* Champion a training culture within the team to ensure succession planning
* You will be an Ambassador for Chefs in Schools
The Ideal candidate.
* Exceptional hands-on experience of working with a bespoke offer and brand
* Proven experience in managing successful teams
* Multi-site operational experience in a similar role
* Creative, innovative and forward-thinking Management style
* Previous experience of at least two years in a similar role
* First class People Management skills and the ability to influence and lead
* Results Orientation, ability to hit the ground running
* Experience of leading and managing teams to deliver targets
* Track record of growing sales and retaining business
* Previous budget management and/or profit & loss responsibility
* Ability to communicate effectively to senior stakeholders
* Can demonstrate commercial awareness
* I.T & computer literate
About The Role

* Monday – Friday
* 7am - 3.30pm
* Excellent work/life balance due to term time only contract
