Summary


As a Clinical Nurse Specialist within the busy Dermatology department at Castle Hill Hospital the post holder will undertake a range of duties to ensure the effective delivery of care.

This will include undertaking the assessment and management of dermatology patients experiencing chronic skin conditions, specialist procedures and providing specialist advice and ongoing support to the patient group.

The post holder is responsible for monitoring treatments for patients against agreed protocols and guidelines for dermatology conditions such as psoriasis, eczema and other inflammatory conditions.

The busy Dermatology department provide multiple different treatment options to patients ( adult and paediatric) with chronic skin conditions, such as minor surgery, day case treatments, patch testing and ultra violet light treatment. The team consists of Dermatology consultants, junior doctors on rotation and specialist GP trainees. We are supported by an admin team consisting of secretary's and medical record staff. We are currently looking at ways to work more collaboratively with our neighbours in North Lincolnshire and Goole.
