Summary
Our client is looking for a senior planning officer on a contract until September 2024. Your main purpose will be to deliver good development.
Key responsibilities:
- To manage the delivery of intermediate development projects from inception to completion.
- To provide advice and guidance to customers seeking to undertake intermediate development projects.
- To provide advice and guidance to customers seeking to undertake intermediate development projects.
- To liaise with Building Control and other officers of the Council to ensure that intermediate development projects can be delivered.
- To process the regulatory applications that are necessary to deliver intermediate development projects.
- To calculate the Community Infrastructure Levy for qualifying projects
You will need:
- A degree, preferably in Town and Country Planning or a related discipline
- An understanding of the role of infrastructure delivery in providing a framework for the city's growth
- Postgraduate experience in a planning, or development based discipline
- Evidence of effective negotiating skills
