Summary


Our friendly District Nursing team are looking for an experienced administrator to support their team in a brand-new role as theBusiness Managerfor District Nursing in Slough.

Your role as Business Manager will be pivotal within the Community Nursing teams. A wide scope of responsibilities, such as supporting the Senior Management Team to ensure all business needs are met is a key aspect of this dynamic role. You will be coaching and managing a team of administrators to ensure that service needs are being effectively managed. Not only this, but you will be showcasing your advanced communication skills with not only our patients but other external stakeholders.

From writing high level reports, analysing data to coordinating the Slough Triage service, no day is the same as Business Manager! Giving you the opportunity to develop and enhance your current skillset is the aim of this post.

• To be a central point of contact and maintain relationships across the service, assisting the team in the development and maintenance of efficient and effective office procedures.
• To line manage administrative staff, ensuring tasks are proportionally allocated and the administrative functions are well planned and responsive to staff and service user needs.
• Attend high level designated meetings where the information may be highly complex and sensitive, taking and transcribing minutes. Distribute information prior to and coming out of meetings
• Ensures all office systems are maintained to a high standard, both electronically and hard copy across the service, developing systems to ensure services run smoothly and to the satisfaction of service users.
• To be accountable for efficient and accurate data being recorded by administrative staff on all electronic systems and that these conform to necessary policies, processes and protocols.
