Food Group, based in the heart of Crewe, Cheshire. We're seeking a passionate and driven individual to fill the role of
Development Assistant, where you'll play a key role in crafting mouthwatering creations and helping our team soar to new culinary
heights.




Responsibilities:

* -Dive into the dough as you support our Product Developers and Product Development Managers across all customer accounts within
the categories, helping to bring our savoury and sweet creations to life.
* -Be flexible, seamlessly working between our customers when the workload demands.
* -Whip up excitement by attending meetings and lending your support to presentations alongside your line manager and fellow
product developers.
* -Take charge of organising and sending out tantalising product samples to our customers.
* -Ensure safe delivery of these delicious delights by handling courier bookings and overseeing internal supply chain transport.
* -Hit the streets (or the aisles) as you support customer store visits and sample purchasing, spreading the joy of our
delectable treats.
* -Get hands-on as you assist in the preparation of food for customers and internal meetings.
* -Keep safety as a top priority by following all health and safety requirements during the new product development process.

Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a real passion for food and a hunger for experience in food/product development. Previous experience
working in a team environment, along with a university degree (ideally food-related), is desirable.




Key Skills:

* -Roll out your communication skills across functions and seniority levels, ensuring everyone's on the same page.
* -Show off your planning and organisation skills, keeping everything on track.
* -Be as fluent in computers as you are in cooking, with proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and a willingness to
learn new technologies.
* - Food Safety Level 2 qualification
