Summary
The Financial Assessment Officer will work within a team that provides assessment for both residential and non-residential social care assessments for adults
The postholder must ensure that financial referrals and subsequent assessments are dealt with promptly, balancing the need to support the delivery of a personalised service to clients and their families with the need to protect the council’s financial interests.
They will apply national charging regulations in order to financially assess an individual's contribution towards their social care working with care managers to support the client in terms of assessing and reviewing the client’s financial contributions.
