Summary

The salary for this permanent Physiotherapist job is £34,000 - £42,000 per annum.

Main Duties:

• Conducting thorough clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatments with accuracy.
• Categorising musculoskeletal disorders presented by patients into classifications relevant to their work.
• Generating reports for Management post-assessment and discharge, detailing employees' fitness for work and suggesting any necessary short-term, long-term, or permanent adjustments to their roles.
• Leading rehabilitation exercise classes on-site for employees with musculoskeletal injuries.
• Maintaining clear communication with the broader occupational health team.
• Performing Display Screen Equipment (DSE) assessments and offering preventative advice.
• Providing clients with recommendations for changes or equipment needed based on DSE assessments.
• Identifying workplace hazards and assessing the risk of these hazards contributing to or exacerbating individuals' musculoskeletal health issues.
• Collaborating with Safety, Health & Environment advisors to conduct ergonomic risk assessments on-site and identify potential risks to employees within specific areas.
• Informing the wider occupational health team about necessary changes to work practices or the working environment, whether short or long-term.
• Facilitating effective rehabilitation for staff with musculoskeletal disorders, regardless of whether they are work-related.
• Maintaining comprehensive assessment and treatment records.
• Compiling statistical data for report generation and contributing to or organizing health promotion events.

Requirements of the Physiotherapist:

• Bachelors Degree in Physiotherapy
• Familiarity with musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions and treatments
• Ability to work remotely
• IT skills
• Upholding patient confidentiality
• Adhering to General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) laws
