Summary


The Radiology Directorate within ABUHB are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join their Healthcare Support Worker Team. The role requires the need for a degree of flexibility whilst working within the Radiology Department, but also working within multiple sites across ABUHB as required.

The successful candidate in this dynamic post will be an integral member of the Healthcare Support Worker team based at The Grange University Hospital and will assist with other administrative duties in the main Radiology department across 7 days of working.

Working with a large team of Radiologists, Radiographers and Sonographers, they will be responsible for welcoming and chaperoning patients for procedures, preparing examination rooms and assisting with clerical and portering duties. The post holder will ensure service users always have a positive and professional experience.
• To communicate with patients, all grades of staff and the public
• Chaperone patients during procedures
• Preparing and cleaning examination rooms
• Assist Radiologists, Sonographers and Radiographers
• Being able to work across multiple sites within ABUHB as required
• To demonstrate duties to new staff members as required.
• Ensure stock levels are maintained and ordered when necessary
• Porter and support clerically as required

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
