Summary
Qualified secondary teacher required to teach English to a small group of children in our tutoring centre. Each session is of 70 minutes and the lesson comprises of a mixture of manual and computer-based activities.
- Provide tutoring sessions to students in English.
- Assess students' academic needs and develop personalized lesson plans to address those needs
- Help students improve their study skills and develop effective learning strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to ensure student success
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and enhance their understanding of the subject matter

- Educate: Possess a strong knowledge base in the subjects being taught and the ability to effectively convey that knowledge to students
- Experience with children: Previous experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting is preferred
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and other stakeholders
- Tutoring: Familiarity with tutoring techniques and strategies to support student learning and achievement
- Special education: Understanding of special education principles and strategies for working with students with diverse learning needs
