We are opening our brand new nursery in Hornbeam Park, we are looking for a Toddler room leader to come and join us in opening our awe inspiring nursery. The nursery is situated just off the A61, and a short walk from Hornbeam train station.
Our nursery consists of a pre school room, toddler room, baby room, and non walkers room. As well as our base rooms we also have our own sensory room, and indoor garden. The nursery is very close to nature where we will be taking our little ones for daily walks to explore the outside.
We love to get messy with the children, so baking, arts and crafts and imaginative play are all part of our daily routine.
Our ideal candidate will hold a level 3 childcare qualification, have a good understanding of the EYFS, knowledge of safeguarding, work well within a team, and continue with our curiosity approach ethos.
You will be working with children age 2 – 3 years undertaking duties such as, nappy changing, outdoor play, engaging with parents, monitoring children’s development, and ensuring you take a child centered approach in your in the moment planning. As a room leader you will be managing a small group of staff, organising activities for your room, ensuring the health and safety of all children and staff, and liaising with the management to ensure smooth running of your room.
If you spend your days singing, dancing, reading, baking, exploring the outdoors and changing character to fit role play, then we would love to hear from you!
