Vacancies: 1 Further Information:
An 8 year old girl living in the HU5 area of the city is looking a Personal Assistant for 8 hours per week. She will need a confident and patient PA who is willing to take her on days out. She has Global Development Delay, Epilepsy as well as Learning Difficulties and food allergies. She is non-verbal but is able to communicate her basic needs by use of a ‘what I want’ board (PECS). She has limited mobility and can only walk short distances so does make use of a wheelchair.
She is a happy and excited young girl who enjoys trips out. Her favourite activity is swimming and she makes regular use of the Hydro Therapy Pools and would love a PA to help her attend her regular sessions. She also enjoys places such as The Deep and inside activities such as crafting and messy play.
A car driver is essential as she unable to use public transport.
