Security Control Centre Officer - Nights

Job Overview

-To protect our customer's people, property, and assets, by providing 24/7 security services for all locations within designated area, following robust processes and procedures.



Main Duties include, but not limited to:

-Ensure all duties are completed in compliance with Site Assignment instructions, Risk Assessment and SOPs in a safe manner.

-Proactive monitoring of all control room systems, ensuring that all necessary actions/ procedures are followed and escalated when required: Systems include, CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarms, PA systems, Intercom.

-Physical and remote site locking & unlocking.

-Emergency response, Incident management.

-Report writing and submission.

-To be responsible for the security, safety and welfare of anyone visiting or working at the WTW Locations.

-To protect the assets in the building by maintaining a vigilant, proactive security presence to minimize security risks to people and property.

-Effective communication via the phone, emails and in person.

-Promptly report and escalate all system faults and call outs as required.

-Ensure that all equipment is serviceable and in good working order for the roles and responsibilities under your direct supervision.

-Investigate and report all accidents, incidents or ‘near misses'.

-To ensure an effective handover of shift, and documentation.



What we are looking for

-A valid SIA and CCTV License

-Previous experience of working in a Security Control Room

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Be flexible and adaptable to changing situations

-Advanced computer skills and proficiency.

-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

-Self-motivated and able to work under little to no direct supervision.

-Ability to work in a team environment.

-Ability to multi-ask, discerns patterns in detail.
