Your new company
I've been retained exclusively to recruit a new product team for a tech-first business that specialise managing investments for hedge funds, VC enterprises and private equity firms. They are insistent on working at the sharp edge of technology and will be bringing in 10-15 new tech hires over the next quarter. We are currently looking for Senior or Lead .Net Developers.
You will be working hybrid in this role, with 3 days from their newly refurbished offices in Central Bournemouth, on commuting lines to London and 2 minutes from the Beach.
Your new role
This is an amazing opportunity and the ideal time to be getting involved at a Fintech company where software is a profit maker, not a cost. The VP of Dev does not compromise on equipment and tools to ensure they are ahead of the game.
You'll be joining a Scrum team of 8-10 people as they enter their next phase of expansion due to additional project work and strategic ambition from their new CEO. You'll work on the development of their enterprise cloud-based platform which is a real differentiator in the market. The roles are Senior and will all entail a strong element of hands-on, but they are interested in speaking to Tech Leads who can mentor/share knowledge but still want to retain their hands-on responsibilities.
The mandate to scale is clear, but only with the right people. You'll be joining a really high-level team in a flat structure where your voice will be heard. Developers here are involved in software design/architecture and from start to finish on modules so you'll get full lifecycle exposure. With fast-growth comes excellent progression opportunities and a real diversity to the tech you can work with.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for 5+ years commercial C# experience working across .Net Framework / .Net Core on product builds, ideally with Microservices / Service Based Architecture.
You will have a strong command of SQL Server and API's, plus will be an advocate of software design patterns, CI/CD and DevOps in an Agile environment.
Your role can be Back End, but if pushing a Full Stack role you will be using the latest version of Angular / Typescript (we are happy with people cross-training from React or Vue etc).
Everything runs on the cloud through AWS Infrastructure (though Azure fine), so this experience would be a bonus. We expect Developers here to be involved with peer code reviews, unit/integration testing and refactoring/optimisation of code.
