Summary
Teacher Active is proud to be working with a reputable Secondary School in the Newport area, seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons to the highest standard. The ideal candidate will possess a kind, patient, and enthusiastic demeanour in the classroom, along with a strong understanding of the general curriculum as you will be covering a range of subjects.
Previous experience working in a classroom environment is essential, and support will be provided. As this role is in a secondary school, excellent classroom management skills are a must.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will have:
• A relevant qualification and/or at least 6 months of experience working with children.
• A calm, caring, and patient personality.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• The ability to work well within a team environment.
