TeacherActive are looking for a Welsh Speaking TA / Teaching Assistant in the Blaenau Gwent area to have the opportunity to work in a fantastic Welsh speaking primary school!
We are looking for a General Welsh Speaking TA / Teaching Assistant to work in a Welsh speaking primary school in the Blaenau Gwent area. The posiiton is full time, working 5 days a week. The role will entail helping the teacher as well as helping the students in the classroom. All positions are currently temporary, however, there is the opportunity for the role to become permanent if the school really likes you! This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting.
The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:
• At least Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment.
• Be a fluent Welsh speaker
• A calm, patient and caring persona
• Good communication skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
The successful Teaching Assistant will be paid £76 - £90 per day! All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
