Contract Type: Permanent

Hours of work: 39 hours per week over 4 days between the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm and includes 1 full weekend in 5 (6.00am to
4.30pm)

Location: Office based – James Hall & Co, Bowland View, Preston, PR2 5QT

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our inhouse team of customer service helpdesk advisors here at James Hall & Co.
Our aim is to provide and deliver a fantastic service to our current and potential retailers as well as suppliers and the public.



Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

You will provide excellent first line support by dealing with customer issues, enquiries and complaints keeping customer
satisfaction at the core of everything you do.

You will help to problem solve incidents, provide prompt updates and speedy resolutions. You will walk customers through the
problem-solving process, following up to ensure resolution and full customer satisfaction. Other duties and responsibilities
include



* Dealing with all inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
* Use problem solving skills to attempt to resolve incidents
* Follow training and guidance documentation to investigate and resolve IT support issues. This can include till problems,
software queries, network/broadband outages and in-store pricing/promotions
* Communicate with customers and internal teams using Email, Microsoft Teams, Telephone and Face to Face
* Accurately record and manage incidents, including liaising with internal and 3rd party teams and providing prompt updates to
users
* Help establish us as a company known for excellent customer service





A few things about you…

This is a customer support role, so we are looking for someone who is quick to learn, with excellent communication skills, and an
ability to problem-solve. Although experience within a contact centre or IT Support environment would be preferred, it is not
essential as full training will be provided
