Summary
Responsibilities:
- Supporting autistic pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour in a primary school provision.
- Developing and implementing individualised support plans for pupils with autism.
- Working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure pupil's needs are met.
- Providing training and guidance to staff on best practices for supporting pupils with autism.
- Liaising with external agencies and professionals to ensure pupils receive appropriate support.
Requirements:
- Experience working with autistic pupils with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
- Knowledge of autism and related conditions.
- Understanding of strategies for managing challenging behaviour.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with others.
