About The Role
Morrison Water Services part of M Group Services Water Division are the leading service provider in the water and wastewater infrastructure sectors in the UK. We employ C.2800 people across the UK and we are looking for ambitious individuals who are keen to continue a career in within the Metering and Customer departments of a Utility Contractor Business.
We are responsible for the delivery of a Metering Framework with Yorkshire Water. We install, replace and repair water meters across the operational area, including Led Replacements, Customer Side Leakage and Commercial Meters.

We are recruiting Stores Operative to work on our WSP Yorkshire Water Contract, a client we have been working with since 1998.
Based out of our Operational Depot of Normanton, you will be working as part of a team responsible for the day to day running busy distribution depot/warehouse.
As the Stores Operative your duties & responsibilities will be:
We work in a regulatory environment, so you will need to be able to ensure all areas of operational delivery are met within the team
Issuing of Stock and recording on the systems
Taking delivery of stock and recording on the systems
Housekeeping/Maintenance of a busy Warehouse and Depot
Assisting the management of strategic stock(Clients)
Assisting with the filling of clean water tankers
Skills & Knowledge Requirements
- Previous experience of operating in a Delivery environment
- FLT License
- Full Driving License (Requirement Day1)
- Clean water Sample Trained
- Bendi Truck License
Full Training can be provided to the right candidate
As part of this role, there will be the requirement to provide standby or emergency call per the rota.
