Summary

About us
Changing Lives is a nationwide charity helping people facing the most challenging of circumstances to make positive change - for good. We believe that everyone deserves a safe home, a rewarding job and a life free from addiction or abuse. We know that given the right support, anyone can change their life for the better.
Our services across the country help thousands of people each year who are experiencing a wide range of complicated challenges, including homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, unemployment, involvement with the criminal justice system, sexual exploitation and domestic abuse. By focusing on their strengths, potential and opportunities, we support the people we work with to overcome their problems and live safe, successful, independent lives.
Our charity is powered by over 600 passionate colleagues who bring a diverse and inclusive environment for our colleagues to grow. We are proud to say that many have actual lived experience of the challenges faced by those we support. We are looking for committed and compassionate professionals to join our team, who share our enthusiasm for changing lives.
About the Service - Women and Children's Services
We run services and dedicated women’s centres for those who are at risk or struggling with challenging circumstances, including women in the criminal justice system and those with experience of trauma, selling sex or sexual exploitation.
We understand that women and girls have experiences which are different to men and can experience vulnerabilities that are specific to their gender. Childhood abuse and domestic abuse are common features in the lives of the women we support which impact on their health and wellbeing. Underpinning all our services is an in-depth understanding of trauma and a focus on recovery, resilience and community integration.
About the Job
Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the Adult Sexual Exploitation (ASE) Partnership brings together charities Changing Lives, Ashiana, The Angelou Centre, GROW, A Way Out, Together Women, Basis Yorkshire and WomenCentre to provide trauma-informed support for women who have been groomed for sexual exploitation across the North East and Yorkshire.
The ASE partnership also works to influence change to policy and practice at local and national levels, to systemically improve outcomes for women who are experiencing/have experienced sexual exploitation. The Research and Data Analyst for the partnership will ensure that we gain a body of evidence to support the call for dedicated resource, longer-term funding and improved systems for adult survivors of sexual exploitation. You will work with all partners to collect comprehensive, consistent data, and collect, interpret and disseminate external data, evidence and research to inform both our service and influencing work.
You will be part of the ASE Partnership team based at Changing Lives, while working closely with colleagues from across the ASE partnership. This is an agile working role and we are pleased to consider applications for remote working, with semi-regular travel to Changing Lives’ Central Office in Gateshead and other ASE Partnership partners as required. This role is part time and we would be happy to discuss how we spread these hours across the working week. Changing Lives is an equal opportunities employer and are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion. We particularly welcome applications from under-represented groups.
We are also seeking applications for a part-time Quality Assurance Officer for the ASE partnership and would consider appointing both roles to a well suited candidate. Please only submit an application for one role and state in the application if you are interested in interviewing for the roles as a combined full time post.
For an informal chat about the role, please contact jess.creaby-attwood@changing-lives.org.uk or debra.cowey@changing-lives.org.uk
