Summary


An exceptional opportunity has arisen within the Counter Fraud department at the Health Board for a new Head of Counter Fraud Services.

For the right person this an opportunity to lead and shape a highly regarded and effective team. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual who has the skills to lead a small, highly motivated team and maintain the profile and standing that this function has within the Health Board and beyond.

We are looking for an outstanding individual who will provide vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the overall counter fraud agenda.
• Lead on all aspects of counter-fraud across the organisation.
• Lead on the development of an anti fraud culture across the Health Board by designing and delivering communication and training strategies that aim to increase awareness and deterrent of fraud and raising the profile of the counter fraud service across divisions and localities.
• identify key areas of risk within the organisation and target awareness appropriately.
• Lead on detection and investigation of potential fraud issues that arise and develop and implement the organisations policies for counter fraud.
• Liaise with Counter Fraud Specialists at an all-Wales and national level in relation to the implementation of guidance issued by the Welsh Government and the NHS Counter Fraud Authority.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
