Summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Psychiatric Liaison Service at Luton & Dunstable University hospital provided by ELFT.

The department of Liaison Psychiatry is looking to recruit band 6 1WTE Psychiatric Liaison Practitioner to join Acute Liaison Psychiatry Service. You can be a qualified Mental Health Nurse or a qualified Social Worker. Experience of working with Drug and Alcohol team as well as working with Old Age patients will be desirable.

The post holder will work in partnership with the Operational Manager, nurse colleagues, consultant psychiatrists and medical colleagues to provide high quality clinical assessments and mental health care to the patients at Luton & Dunstable University hospital. The post holder will work as part of the MDT reporting to the Operations Manager. As a practitioner you will participate in service development and maintaining standards of mental health service provision to Luton & Dunstable University hospital. Various shift patterns including long days, twilights and nights. You will be expected to work ALL shifts.
