Due to increase in demand, we are currently looking for bilingual/multilingual individuals to join our Face-to-Face freelance interpreting team.
This is a great opportunity to start or build on your career within the Interpreting industry.

As a freelance interpreter, you can choose your own hours and work as much or as little as you would like. We have a dedicated team who provide support and guidance for our existing network of linguists. Basic Requirement:
• Valid Right to Work document without restrictions.
• Fluency in English and your chosen language(s) up to C1 level. (Please note proficiency proof will be required and we can support you in obtaining this.)
• Approx. 100 hours interpreting experience – either as a professional, Friends and Family or through voluntary work
• Valid Security Clearance. (Enhanced DBS required and you can apply through us.)
What will you be doing?
As a freelance interpreter, you will attend appointments in person to support our clients and their non-English speaking service users.
Having one of the below qualifications is preferred, but not essential:
• Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI)
• Community Interpreting Level 3 or above.
• Degree in interpreting (Target Language to English)
• BA in Translation or Interpreting
• BA in Languages, Linguistics, or any related discipline
