Summary
PCV / Bus Technician required in Croydon
- Monday - Friday 37.5 Hours per week with Flexible start and finish times
- Salary: Hourly rate Range £21 per hour + Van + Fuel + Additional training
- Benefits: Franchised Dealer Training . + EV / Hybrid Training
Our client a World Renowned Commercial Vehicle Dealership are currently looking for a Bus Field Engineer to join their busy Commercial workshop environment based from Croydon, Surrey.
As a productive member of the team you will be the key person between the Field Service control team to our clients bus and coach customers. You will be tasked with providing an accurate diagnostic and repair report and able to fix buses in a flexible and professional manner. No two days will ever be the same!
The ideal PCV / Bus Technician will be:
- Qualified commercial vehicle technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
- Bus & Coach experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided by our clients
- Able to attend our clients customers address (field service van and fuel will be provided)
- Providing excellent customer service and technical service; you are the face of my clients company so first impressions mean everything
- Being process oriented
- Must be a team player and work within SHEQ guidelines
The successful PCV / Bus Technician will need to have:
- A professional track record as an HGV Technician/Mechanic.
- Be highly skilled and competent at carrying out HGV repairs without support.
- HGV Licence would be an advantage but not essential.
For your hard work they will provide a competitive salary, £1,000 Joining bonus after six months, generous company pension scheme and various training courses to keep your skills up to date in a very evolving vehicle workshop environment.
Motor Trade experience as an HGV Technician / Bus Mechanic is essential and being able to travel Croydon, Surrey daily is realistic for the long term.
