HGV Technician Required in Kensington, West London
- Salary Up to £45,637 Basic Depending on experience + overtime
- Monday to Friday ONLY 45 hours per week 6am - 15:30pm
- Full time 45 hour weeks

Are you looking for a new challenge with a highly successful HGV and Commercial Vehicle Group where your contribution is recognised? Our client based in Kensington, West London is actively looking to hire an HGV Technician / Plant Mechanic for their site on a Monday - Friday early basis.
Our client is part of a Plant / Commercial Group who have humble beginnings dating back to 1870, part of a large international plant / commercial vehicle company that are still family owned and offer long term career prospects; most of our clients managers are ex Commercial Technicians who have been promoted internally.
As a productive HGV Technician within their team you will spend most of your time in the Workshop maintaining HGV and RCV vehicles to the high standards, carrying out inspections, repairs and services as well as carrying out roadside repairs to recover vehicles. Analysis and diagnostics of vehicles is also a critical part of this role to ensure we exceed our clients customers’ expectations.
The successful HGV Technician will need to have:
- NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 qualified in HGV / Plant Vehicle Mechanics.
- 5 years or more professional track record as a commercial technician / fitter
- Qualified in chassis repair and maintenance.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams.
- Understanding of Hydraulics.
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Present a professional image within the workshop
