German Branded Vehicle Technician Required in Crawley, West Sussex
Pay: £30,000 - £50,000 - no bonus! Quality and Reputation is everything for our client!
Hours: Monday to Friday 8AM till 5.00PM with 1 in 4 Saturday Mornings
We are currently working with a well respected German Vehicle Specialist Garage who have over 100 years combined knowledge of their chosen marque and the go to specialists in the Crawley area. This client has an excellent reputation with customers, the manufacturer they represent and employees alike. Our clients ethos is go the extra mile for their customers which has grown the car workshop business by word of mouth. Our client works on German Branded Classic Cars, Performance Cars as well as modern cars that are still under warranty so a nice mixture of mechanical jobs.
They are seeking a German Branded Experienced and / or an Enthusiastic Vehicle Technician who has at least two years experience working in an Automotive Repairing Workshop; preferably from a German marque background but not essential to support and add value to Workshop Team. Our client has stated the successful Vehicle Mechanic will work collectively as a team and be involved in tasks such as Classic Car Restoration, Major Engine Repairs, Diagnostics and General Servicing. There will also be on the job brand training provided if needed - enthusiasm to be the best is required a minimum!
Within this Vehicle Technician role your typical duties will include:
- Undertake repairs and servicing of customer vehicles in accordance with manufacturer technical standards.
- Mechanical and Electrical diagnostics and customers cars
- Be able to undertake servicing and mechanical repairs; suspension, clutches, timing belts / chains etc
- Offer technical advice and support to service staff and apprentices in the workshop
- Work with the wider workshop team to improve quality
