About the role
We are currently seeking Terminal Services Assistants on a Fixed Term basis to join the Terminal Team at Cardiff Airport.
The role is within a customer focused environment, working varied shifts covering a 24-hour period across seven days a week
Reporting to the Airport Duty Management Team, the role primarily provides support to disabled passengers requiring special assistance and ensures that the customer experience is positive and inclusive.
The role is also responsible for maintaining excellence in terms of cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the airport, including the physical cleaning of toilet facilities, following enhanced cleaning procedures and upholding high standards of health and safety.
The Terminal Services Assistant will be required to work collaboratively with other departments across the airport, assisting in duties where required to do so. Full in-post training will be given.
About you
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills gained in a customer facing environment, a positive can-do attitude and a firm commitment to the principles of equality, diversity and inclusion. Good interpersonal skills and a proactive approach are essential, with the ability to work without supervision.
The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Criminal Record check to comply with Department for Transport regulation.
