Purovets are working with an exceptional, independent, and well-respected practice group who have been established for over four decades in the Suffolk area. They are seeking a small animal veterinary surgeon to join their friendly and experienced team.

They pride themselves on offering a combination of traditional values with modern techniques and a high level of expertise. The current veterinary team provide the highest calibre of veterinary care and pride themselves on the fantastic service that they provide to clients and patients alike. The team are all very supportive and as a practice, they encourage discussion groups and training to help all staff members develop in their chosen areas of expertise. They are particularly proud to offer a great network of support to new and recent graduates to enable them to nurture and grow in their veterinary career, many of whom continue to work for the practice years after qualifying. They are a friendly and supportive close-knit team with social events of various shapes and sizes held throughout the year.

My client is happy to consider vets with a range of experience. This role would also be suitable for a new graduate as you will have fantastic support from their experienced team. The role is for 4.5 days per week with a manageable weekend rota and an in-house OOHs service, covered by a dedicated night team of vets and nurses providing a high level of continuous 24/7 care. The clinic is equipped with everything that you need to practice in accordance with the highest standards of veterinary medicine, including endoscopy, laparoscopy, ECG, ultrasound, digital x-ray, in-house lab, multiparameter monitoring, a dedicated operating theatre and much more.

The practices are based in beautiful coastal Suffolk, which has a great balance of peaceful coasts and countryside alongside bustling historic towns. There are great transport links to London and the Midlands and Stansted Airport is only an hour away, making this an attractive location to locals and commuters alike.

Role:

- Salary up to £70,000 DOE
- 4.5 days per week
- 1 in 4 Saturday mornings
- 1 in 12 full weekends
- Very limited on-call rota, 3-4 nights a year
- Flexible rota options
