Summary

**CALLING ALL ADULT SUPPORT WORKERS** - Temp to Perm opportunities

Owen Payne Care Services are seeking experienced Adult Support Workers to work with individuals with mental health issues and learning dificulties.

Excellent written and verbal English is essential and must be able to work in the DY7, DY8, DY9 and DY10 areas

As a Support Worker, you could be working in people’s homes, in the community or in health and social care settings, and may help them with tasks such as mobility, eating and drinking, or personal care.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a similar role
• Hold a full valid driving license (Preferable but not essential)

Some of the main responsibilities of a Support Worker role include:

• Providing physical support with household tasks and personal care
• supporting individuals with healthcare needs, for example undertaking routine checks and administering medication
• Supporting individuals with the personal development of skills, through hobbies, interests and integration with the community
• Educating individuals with life skills, such as reading, writing, communication skills, finance/budgeting skills, IT skills etc.
• Communicating with Health and Social Care Professionals to ensure needs are met

**Due to the sensitivity of this role, background checks including references and an enhanced DBS check will be a requirement**

Location - DY7, DY8, DY9 and DY10 areas

Rate of Pay - £11.44 per hour

Shift Pattern - Full time shift pattern, shifts can be any day of the week including weekends, flexibility with hours is essential
