Temporary Roadworker – Highways

35-37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
This opening assignment is for 1-2 months
City: NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE
A Roadworker is required to undertake a range of highway tasks including excavation, labouring, laying and compacting stone, laying and compacting tarmac, laying concrete, drainage gullies and ducts, complex deep drainage.
Undertake traffic management associated with highway functions and use and interpret plans and drawings in relations to highways functions.

Qualifications:


Full UK driving licence.
CSCS Card.
Certificate to drive dumper truck.

Knowledge:


Knowledge of construction related health and safety issues and safe digging practices in relation to underground services is required for this role.

Experience:


Experience in Highways and Civils Engineering works.
Have previous labouring experience.

Skills & Abilities:


Must be fit and healthy and able to work outside in all weathers
