Role Overview:
As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our client's production facility in Caldicot. Your main objective will be to ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to execution and delivery. Supervise and motivate production staff to achieve production targets and meet deadlines. Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure product consistency and compliance with industry standards. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate stock of materials and supplies. Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to increase productivity and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety awareness among production staff. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and quality assurance, to streamline workflows and improve overall efficiency. Requirements: Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
