Summary
The Best Connection are currently seeking a MIG Welder for a manufacturer in the Winsford area with an immediate start.
Responsibilities: Manufacture and fabricating steel frames, structures, and sheet metal fabrications. Evaluate and interpret, sketches and other data to be used in the preparation of the product to be manufactured, conducting dimensional inspection prior to welding. Ensure work is conducted to exact tolerances. Will ideally have experience in MIG welding on steel to a high standard. A weld test will be conducted prior to their interview.
Candidates will need to bring their own weld masks to conduct their weld test within the factory. This will include Fillet & Butt weld tests (6mm-15mm thickness).
Requirements: Must be to coded standard. Attention to detail. Good numeracy skills. Good accuracy and organisational skills. Ability to work to target. Heavy lifting. Working hours:
Monday - Friday 07:00am - 17:30pm
Pay:
£17:00 per hour
Overtime available but not guaranteed.
