Summary
Trainee CNC Miller, Wellingborough based company, Monday to Friday working, potential permanent employment for the right person.
My client is a precision engineering company who manufacture parts for machinery that are used within the aerospace, automotive, hydrogen gas and oil and food sectors. They are looking for someone with basic CNC Machining experience who wants to progress to the next level.
The main aspect of this role will be learning how to set operate and run CNC machines to meet daily production schedules. This will include
- Operating setting and running the CNC Machines
- Learning how to use specific software for the milling process.
- Reading technical drawings and diagrams to manufacture the parts required.
- Quality checking the parts made.
To be considered for this role, you will hav
- Have basic knowledge of setting CNC machine tools.
- Have previously used and be familiar with "end mills" as a minimum
- Have basic knowledge of HAAS and Heidenhain controls (desirable but not essential)
- Have worked with technical drawings and can read specifications and diagrams.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
Be able to work on your own initiative on your own or within a team.

This position has the potential to become permanent should the successful candidate excell on the training program and progress as required.
