If you are an experienced Electrician, looking for the opportunity to join a leading electrical provider based primarily in and around the Westbury area then this is the perfect opening for you. A leading domestic and commercial contractor are looking to expand their electrical team, recruiting into both their installation and maintenance divisions.
Your new role
You will be responsible for using a working knowledge of electrical systems to conduct maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics on existing systems. Installs new electrical systems, including lighting and heating, to customer standards and to maintain those systems while upholding safety guidelines and complying with codes and regulations.
Key responsibilities are likely to include, but not be limited to, the following -
- Installing, maintaining and repairing electric systems in both domestic and commercial environments
- Ensure systems adhere to electrical safety standards and regulations
- Diagnose and repair electrical problems including fault-finding, rewiring and testing
- Identifying issues with electrical systems, repairing and escalating where required
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will need to hold their Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installations and ideally their ECS Gold Card. You will require working knowledge of IEE Regulations as well as the ability to demonstrate familiarity with NICEIC Requirements. Previous experience working as an Electrician or an Electrical Improver is also essential. Due to the company vehicle you will be given to utilise, you must also hold a a full UK Driving License.
