Summary


Trust Doctor in Acute Medicine - F2/CT Equivalent

Applications are invited for the post of Trust Doctor (F2 / CT Equivalent) in Acute Medicine at Royal Cornwall Hospital. A good level of postgraduate NHS work experience would be an advantage.

Applicants will be required to have experience of working within a medicine related specialty for a minimum period of 4 months. You will require current ALS (or equivalent) and will also be GMC registered with a licence to practice.

You will have access to study leave and the experience will be equivalent to a training post. You will be subject to the Terms and Conditions of the substantive posts within the Trust.

• Assessment and management of acute admissions to the Medical Admissions Unit.
• Attend ward rounds as timetabled.
• Attend multi-disciplinary ward meetings.
• Assist in-patient management.
• Assessment of patients in the Emergency Department.
• Fulfill the duties of the weekly timetable including out of hours responsibilities.
• Participate in Clinical Audit.
• Participate in departmental Education and Training sessions.
