Summary


In the Emergency Department the Band 2 HCA will be responsible for supporting nursing staff within ED. The HCA will be expected to carry out specific tasks as allocated by RN/Nurse in charge of area. You will need to be dynamic and enthusiastic in your role, as the ED is fast paced and is faced with new challenges every day. You need to be able to work within the trust values.

The band 2 HCA is a key member of the Emergency Department Team. You will provide a high standard of basic nursing care to enhance the patient journey through the department.

You will work closely with the nursing staff across the emergency floor. You will have the opportunity to develop in your role and have opportunities to learn skills and knowledge.
