We are looking for a Car Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join a mechanical department based at BCA Chipping Warden site.
This role is ideal for level 2 or 3 qualified technicians, but we will also take into consideration students currently completing automotive qualifications.
Shift: 4on 4off 6:00-18:00
Salary: Up to £42,274.00 per annum
What you’ll be doing….
Carry out general servicing of vehicles, repairs and MOT checks (if you are not qualified, you can complete MOT qualifications with us)
Complete work on our hybrid / electric vehicles (you can complete Level 2 Hybrid Vehicles course with us)
Complete air conditioning services as and when required
Diagnose problems on vehicles in the workshop and if needed undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
Undertake road and ramp testing
Carry out all repairs in line with approved methods to restore vehicles to its original condition
Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
Who you are….
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Mechanical Inspector
Qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (required)
Full valid UK driving licence is essential, held for a minimum of 2 years
You must own your own tools / basic kit
