Summary


We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Band 3 Healthcare Assistant to join our community healthcare team. As a Healthcare Assistant in the Community, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes and local communities. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.



Key Responsibilities:

- Role involves being a Lone worker, travelling around the local community to patients’ home/residential homes

- Advanced wound care

- Routine Injection techniques, Diabetic monitoring and venepuncture

- Assisting with medication management under supervision

- Monitoring and recording vital signs and reporting any changes

- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care



Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a community or home care setting (Band 3)

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care

- Compassionate and patient-centred approach

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Full driving license and access to a vehicle essential

Additional Working Pattern: Between 8am and 4pm Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 weekends
