Summary


This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about delivering Outpatients musculoskeletal Physiotherapy to our Aylesbury and Amersham communities . The post holder will be expected to rotate within the Outpatients Musculoskeletal services between Amersham & Stoke Mandeville Hospitals

We pride ourselves on integrated team working and strive for best clinical practice. The post holder will have the opportunity to enhance their Outpatients musculoskeletal skills with support from band 7 and our Band 8a Outpatients MSK Lead Physiotherapist. We strongly encourage an evidenced based approach and support staff through supervision and appraisal. There is a strong emphasis on student education. Attendance at post graduate courses is also supported.

Candidates will be expected to join and partake in emergency on call and weekend working rotas, therefore previous experience of working within a respiratory or intensive care field is essential.
• To perform assessment and treatment (including Hydrotherapy) for patients with complex needs, and to provide advice, guidance and information to health and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals.
• To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
• To participate in continuing professional and service development and contribute to organisational objectives.
