Summary
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are working in partnership with a local manufacturing company in their search for a Water Jet Cutting Production Operative to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis.
Our client manufacture parts and components used in the aerospace industry and have a temporary to permanent vacancy within their CAD design and water jet cutting facility.
Job details:
• Uploading the file to the water jet control system
• Additional set up - loading the cutting materials - this is heavy work!
• Digging out beds, clearing drainage systems - this isn't a clean job!
Ideal candidate:
• Experience in plasma cutting and / or laser cutting
• Basic CAD experience / ability to learn basic CAD design
• You are looking for a long term, permanent position as a result of this placement
Working Hours:
Days and Afters rotating, 6am-3pm / 130pm-10pm
Monday - Friday with overtime available
The Pay:
£13.70 - £14.21 per hour dependant on experience
Overtime available, time and a half in the week & Saturdays, double time on Sundays & Bank Holidays
