Summary


The post will cover Retail Catering services at Hull Royal Infirmary.

The successful candidate will work various shifts to cover the service delivery requirements. The department(s) operate from 0600 through to 2000 7days a week including public holidays.

Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust Catering department are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, sales driven and highly motivated Retail Catering Supervisor to manage the day to day operations of the restaurants, cafes and outlets on site at Hull Royal Infirmary.

You will be joining a team of supervisors and catering assistants that provide a retail and hospitality service throughout the hospital sites.

The successful applicant will support the Trust Retail Catering Management team with stock management, increasing sales, roster planning, innovation, cash management, staff and service development, food & health and safety, general compliance and other general day to day operations within a food service and hospitality business.

Previous experience in a similar role is required.

The hospitals (Castle Hill Hospital & Hull Royal Infirmary) have 2 restaurants & 5 cafes

A brand new restaurant has recently been created at the Hull Royal Infirmary site to meet the ever growing demands of the HUTH Trust.

The service operating hours meet the needs of the fluctuating services and are a mixture of Monday to Friday or 7 day service including public holidays.

The successful applicants must be flexible and able to work between both sites, it would be advantageous to have access to transport for travel but not essential.

A UK full driving license (clean) is essential for this post as the role will involve driving Trust vehicles on and off site during working hours. Please ensure you detail the status of your driving license in the supporting information on the online application form.
