Summary

FM Conway is currently seeking a Transport Planner to join our growing Transport division, based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent. As our Transport Planner you will provide a crucial role in the team, ensuring efficient planning of road transport operations. This is a permanent, full time position offering a competitive salary and wide range of benefits.

The duties of the Transport Planner role will include:

- Planning the full utilisation of our transport fleet

- Liasing with site supervisors regarding the most profitable use of our assets

- Reducing the requirement for sub-contract haulage

- Gaining a full understanding of site requirements and restrictions, transport systems and transport regulations

- Assisting in KPI reporting on vehicle/driver earnings and utilisation

What skills and experience do you need?

We are looking for an organised and customer focused candidate who has the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. It would be ideal if you had previous experience in planning and scheduling, but we are also happy to consider candidates with a strong administration background.
