We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our existing team.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

- To design, deliver and evaluate employability programmes which meet the needs of the business and learners.
- To ensure the quality of delivery, excellent customer service, continuous professional development and timely achievement of learner goals and qualifications.

KEY TASKS:

- To work with the Delivery/Marketing teams to identify relevant and appropriate opportunities for the design, delivery, evaluation and review of employability training programmes.
- To plan, administer and deliver programmes for learners ensuring the delivery model is maintained and all aims and objectives are met.
- To support learners to overcome barriers, supporting with confidence building and work/life skills ready for placement/employment opportunities.
- To contribute to the overall team achievement of profiled learner outcomes.
- To work with the Delivery Teams to ensure that mainstream and bespoke training is planned, designed, delivered, reviewed and updated according to business and learner needs.
- To deliver an outcome focussed training experience to all learners ensuring that all activity complies with Rochdale Training’s, ESFA, Ofsted, Statutory and Awarding Body standards and requirements.
- To deliver a quality learning programme and initial assessment to take into account individual learner needs, abilities, lifestyle and interests, learning preferences, aspirations and plans, according to their individual needs, therefore fostering a good learning culture.
- To work off-site when required e.g. in Community Centres.
- To use a variety of teaching methods and appropriate resources to enable learners to maximise their learning and develop confidence and the ability to learn independently and in a group.
- To give information advice and guidance to learners as appropriate and encourage self-development and progression, especially at induction, reviews and exit interviews.
- To ensure ILRs and individual learning plans are in place and reviewed regularly for each learner.
- To promote a positive ethos, good behaviour and attendance for all learners with the programme.
- To encourage the progression of your learners via ongoing learning and development and promotion of Rochdale Training’s courses e.g. Apprenticeship and Skills Training.
- To facilitate the learner to find meaningful employment.
- To promote Equality and Diversity
- To be committed to safeguarding the learners.
- To encourage, monitor and report on learner involvement with your role highlighting innovation and positive practice.
- To maintain comprehensive and accurate records regarding all aspects of job roles as required i.e. registers, ILRs and ILPs.


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in delivering Employability Workshops and Training Needs Analysis.
- Teaching Qualification.
- Assessors Award.
- Experience in planning teaching and developing resources.
- IT competent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Hands-on approach and positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work proactively using own initiative.
- Committed to learning and development.
- Experience working with young people and adults.


COMPLEXITY AND CREATIVITY:

- Analysis of learning needs and style in order to progress the learner to achievement.

- Maintaining learner motivation and meeting their needs.

WORKING HOURS:

Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Friday, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
