Summary


Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS is looking for an 0.6 WTE Principal Clinical Psychologist (Band 8b) to join our friendly, supportive, and experienced multi-disciplinary specialist mental health service within our neurodevelopment/learning disability (NDLD) Team on an up to one-year secondment / fixed-term basis to cover a career break.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, skilled and innovative clinician who can help taking a leading role within our services using a creative and dynamic approach. The role offers the chance to combine clinical work with joining other Principal Clinical Psychologists and the Consultant Clinical Psychologist with providing leadership and supervision of Psychology and Psychology-related professionals within our community and specialist teams. We are looking for clinicians who are able to maintain clinical curiosity and engage in reflective practice as well as be able to be an advocate for children, young people and families’ needs. We hope the successful candidate would support and implement our commitments to staff wellbeing, manageable job plans and giving staff the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge further whilst in role

You will be joining a welcoming senior psychology team in West London who are committed to service improvement, staff well-being, and who value diversity in our workforce. You will offer a high-quality psychology service to young people, families and carers, alongside working effectively with your colleagues and liaising with other professionals in the network supporting the young person. The post provides excellent opportunities for professional development and you will receive regular supervision from a Consultant Clinical Psychologist, and specialist supervision. You will also join the Consultant Clinical Psychologist with providing leadership and supervision of Psychology and Psychology-related professionals within our community and specialist teams.
