The Warehouse Operative Role
As a Warehouse Operative, you will become an integral part of our regional logistics team, playing a key role in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include accepting deliveries from suppliers, picking, loading, and dispatching goods to customers, as well as conducting stock counts and maintaining high standards, focussed on customer fulfilment. This role involves a variety of warehouse-related duties, including forklift and bendi-truck & powered-pallet truck driving, across 45 hours per week (weekdays only).

Warehouse Operative Key Responsibilities

- Accept deliveries from suppliers and ensure goods are stored appropriately

- Pick, load, and dispatch goods to customers in a timely manner

- Operate various forklift/bendi/powered-pallet trucks to move stock within the warehouse

- Process customer or supplier returns

- Participate in stock counts when necessary

- Maintain high standards of customer service to suppliers and customers

- Work closely with the Sales office to ensure timely customer deliveries

- Promote cooperation between departments and comply with regulatory requirements

- Adhere to the Company's ISO9001 and ISO14001 policies

Warehouse Operative Role Requirements
We welcome applications from experienced warehouse/logistics operatives who have either a counterbalance forklift or Bendi truck license (conversion training can be provided for one you don't have). You should enjoy working in a team environment, possess a flexible and positive work attitude, and have strong communication skills. Experience with warehouse/inventory management systems is also highly advantageous as is a strong appreciation of health & safety. Given our operational hours (6am-11pm), some shift work may be required. Please note that as part of your initial on-boarding/induction, there may be the need to travel to other sites of ours during this period, whereby we shall reimburse any travel or accommodation costs incurred.
