Summary


We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

We are looking for that special person who enjoys a challenge, has a positive outlook, is caring, enthusiastic and ready to commit to the role of team leader within our dynamic SACT day unit based at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre.

The day unit has 20 treatment chairs and operates from 08:00 - 20:00 Monday to Friday treating adult patients with Chemotherapy, immunotherapies and targeted cancer therapies.

Responsible for delivering a high standard of specialist nursing care to all patients within MVCC. Able to coordinate the overall management of the Unit.

Facilitating the education and support of qualified and unqualified staff and participating in the development of nursing practice in the clinical area.

Working independently/autonomously without direct supervision, accountable for own professional actions.

Take an active role in deputising and supporting the ward Sister.
