Summary


Are you looking for your next challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen within Division E (Women’s and Childrens) to support the elective recovery programme and transformation of clinical services.

You will support the Operational Manager who in conjunction with the Clinical Leads and Matrons, are responsible for the operational management of Elective & Emergency services across these areas. The post holders will take the lead responsibility for the management of the Referral to Treatment (RTT) Access and recovery plans across all areas.

The key focus of this post will be internal to the Trust, delivering the key objectives and targets of the Directorate and organisation. You will manage the service areas they are responsible for, ensuring the delivery of key targets within the budgeted resources available. You will contribute to strategic and annual business planning for their service areas, including the engagement of senior medical and other staff, as required. You will also coordinate the planning, development and implementation of service improvement, capital and other projects for the areas they are responsible for. You will administer clinical governance processes within their areas and assist in the management of risk.

Provide cross cover across the Directorate as required.
