Attention all Woodwork Enthusiasts!

Are you someone who loves working with your hands and creating high-quality products? Do you have experience in woodworking and operating machinery? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you.

We are currently seeking a Woodwork Manufacturing Operative to work with our exciting client at their Corse Lawn factory. As a Woodwork Manufacturing Operative, you will be responsible for operating machinery, including spray equipment and small woodworking saws, to produce top-notch wood products in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Your typical day as a Woodwork Manufacturing Operative will involve working on a state-of-the-art production line, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of machinery. This will involve monitoring the quality of the products being produced, and making any necessary adjustments to the machines. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the machinery to ensure it runs smoothly at all times.

As a member of the team, you will be working in a factory environment that is constantly buzzing with activity. This means you must be able to work well under pressure and manage your time effectively. While previous experience in a factory setting is beneficial, it is not a requirement but is preferred.

In addition to operating machinery, you will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of small hand tools to complete certain tasks. This will require precision and attention to detail, as the ultimate goal is to produce high-quality wood products that meet our customers' expectations.

We are looking for someone who is a team player and can work well with others in a collaborative environment. You will be part of a close-knit team that values hard work and dedication. This is a physically demanding job, so you must be comfortable being on your feet for extended periods.

Some qualifications that would make you stand out as a candidate include an NVQ Level 2 (This however is not a requirement) in Woodworking or previous experience in a similar role. However, if you have a passion for woodworking and a willingness to learn, we are more than happy to provide on-the-job training.

As a Woodwork Manufacturing Operative the benefits of working for Acorn by Synergie include:

* Acorn Employee Rewards Scheme.
* 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday).
* Online payslips.
* Weekly pay.
* Pension contribution.

If you think you have what it takes to be a successful Woodwork Manufacturing Operative then we want to hear from you! Don't miss out on this exciting opportunity by applying for the role, or email me on David.harvey@acornpeople.com
